Healthy Attitudes Produce Positive Youth
Education, community connection, & support to help youth & their families live their healthiest lives
Project HAPPY (Healthy Attitudes Produce Positive Youth) was started by Dr. Tami Hendriksz,
a pediatrician who is passionate about promoting pediatric health and combating the
obesity epidemic through education, clinical service, and community-programs. Students
from Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine help to teach the
classes, lead the activities, and serve as personal health navigators for the families
Project HAPPY is a community-based family-centered program that teaches families about healthy living through interactive classes, cooking demonstrations, physical activity sessions, and personal health-navigators.
We are actively recruiting for our next cohort which will take place in Vallejo, California
in the Spring of 2019.
Participating families will receive nutrition, physical activity, and health education, along with recipes, workbooks, gift cards to buy healthy food, water bottles, and more! Please contact us at email@example.com for more information.
